Hi, I'm Lexi - the mum behind Sleepy Bears

I know firsthand how tough those sleepless nights can feel. Becoming a parent changes everything — and the advice out there can be overwhelming (and often conflicting). I believe families deserve gentle, evidence-based guidance they can trust.

After navigating our own challenges with baby sleep, I became passionate about understanding what truly supports calmer, more settled nights. That led me to train as a certified sleep practitioner, so I could help other families find the clarity and confidence I once needed myself.

My approach is rooted in responsive parenting, offering strategies shaped around your baby’s needs and your family’s rhythm — always in a way that feels realistic and aligned with your instincts.

Gentle guidance for your newborn’s sleep foundations.

This package supports you through the early weeks and months of your baby’s life — with realistic, responsive advice that nurtures healthy sleep habits without pressure.

Includes guidance on:

sleep and feeding foundations, responsive routines, safe sleep, setting realistic expectations

What’s included:

  • 60-minute 1:1 video consultation

  • Personalised sleep summary

  • 1 week of WhatsApp support

A gentle, personalised reset for smaller sleep bumps.

 

This mini package is ideal for families who don’t need a full overhaul — just tailored guidance to get things back on track.

Best for:

Children who fall asleep independently but need help with minor adjustments like nap timing, early waking, or bedtime tweaks.

What’s included:

Not suitable for children who need full support learning to fall asleep independently.

FAQs

Which countries do you support?

I work with families worldwide through online video consultations and WhatsApp support. I’m personally based in Dubai and spend a lot of time in the UK, so I’m able to support a range of time zones comfortably. Whether you're near or far, we can always find a time that works.

Do you work with co-sleeping families?

Yes — I can support co-sleeping and room-sharing families. For babies under 6 months, I follow Lullaby Trust safer sleep guidance which says that babies should sleep on their back in their own sleep space. For older babies, progress is still possible while co-sleeping, but it’s usually slower, so we’ll set realistic expectations and work gently towards your goals.

Do you use Cry-it-Out Methods?

No — I don’t use cry-it-out or controlled crying, and you’ll never be asked to leave your baby to cry alone. Babies communicate through crying, so we can’t guarantee there will be no tears at all when things change — but we always go at a pace that feels right for your child. If your baby becomes upset, we slow down and make adjustments if needed. My aim is responsive, supportive settling — never distress.

What's your approach?

My approach is gentle, responsive, and rooted in evidence-informed sleep foundations. I look at the whole picture — sleep environment, routines, and how sleep is distributed over 24 hours — while supporting your child to fall asleep independently if that’s your goal. Every plan is tailored to your baby’s needs and your family’s values, with no rigid methods or one-size-fits-all solutions.

Do you support families who are breastfeeding?

Yes. I support breastfed, bottle-fed, formula-fed and combination-fed babies. I’ll never ask you to stop breastfeeding — we’ll always work with your feeding preferences. If feeding to sleep is contributing to night waking and you’d like support changing that association, I can guide you gently while protecting your feeding relationship.

How soon will we see progress?

Every baby is unique, and progress looks different from family to family. Some parents notice small shifts as they adjust routines or the sleep environment, while others see more gradual improvements over weeks or months as we gently support their little one in learning new settling skills.

We can never guarantee that every baby will sleep through the night — it’s biologically normal for babies to wake for feeds and reassurance — but we can work towards developmentally appropriate stretches of sleep in a way that feels right for your child.
